October 2013 Newsletter
Well after a very rainy and muddy month - We are looking forward to having pleasant weather for the upcoming October rally at the SEC - Show Jumping will be in the Indoor Arena, Gridwork will be in the warm up area to the Indoor Arena. All Flatwork/poles classes will be in the C-Quest Arena (the arena used for the August Rally). Unfortunately our X-Country lessons have had to be cancelled due to the grounds being too wet and slippery. SO IF EVERYONE COULD GET THERE EARLY AND DO THEIR HELPER DUTY WE SHOULD BE SET UP AND READY TO RIDE ON TIME!
We are looking for people to represent the club in the Quadrille at the next ARCA Challenge - Sunday 27th October. If you have not done a Quadrille before and would like to join in, please let us know. All you need to do is come along to the practise sessions with your horse, as committee member Karina has kindly organised a theme-routine and music... Also have a look at the freestyle tests and dressage tests. REMEMBER THEY CAN BE CALLED FOR YOU SO COME AND HAVE A GO AND SUPPORT YOUR CLUB.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the October Rally... - Look out for our trophy, it will be on display in the canteen hut.

I regularly travel to Peaceful bay between Denmark and Walpole and have often seen the signs for the Denmark - Nornalup Rail Trail. Being a keen trail user of walk trails, cycle trails and in particular bridle trails, I was very keen to one day do this trail.
