HORSEMENS

Horsemens Adult Riding Club was established in 2008, originally held at the Horsemens Pony Club grounds at Whiteman Park. In 2013 we moved our club to the fabulous Swan Valley Pony Club grounds at the State Equestrian Centre, Brigadoon, Western Australia.

 

In 2013 our club membership doubled and we also competed in and won our first ever ARCA Challenge High Point Trophy.  Since 2013 our members have competed in all the ARCA Challenges (which are ‘interclub shows’ and cover dressage, or jumping/xcrountry etc) and many other ARCA Club events.  These events are a fantastic opportunity for riders that like to be a part of a fun outing, in a very encouraging environment.  While we love to see our members build in confidence, these competitions are only a small part of our Club. Horsemens offers a relaxed and friendly place for non-competing members to be a part of too, to just get out and about and be in a different environment for your horse!

 

Our rallies are held on a Friday during school hours 9am - 1:45pm monthly and caters for all disciplines of riding, with many classes to choose from, from beginner to advanced levels in Dressage/Flatwork, Polework, Show Jumping & Gridwork, Cross Country and also Groundwork classes. The grounds we use are amazing, with awesome safe and shady yards for the horses, with plenty of space for float parking! And if you’re still new to floating and parking, just shout and someone will hop in and reverse or park your float for you!  We also have a super canteen with delicious home cooked lunches and a changing menu depending on the weather – so Yummy!

Most importantly, we have a high calibre of coaches to cater for all levels of horse(s) and rider! All our instructors are highly qualified and eager to pass on their knowledge and expertise to our members.

Our last Rally of the year is voted on by members, and due to popular demand has been gymkhana type games and 6 bar jumping (starting with a pole on the ground) and a team’s event! With LOTS of laughs and ribbons to be won too!

Horsemens ARC is affiliated with both ARCA (Adult Riding Club Association) & EA (Equestrian Australia).

 

We are a social and supportive club and regularly have coffee catchups or fun horsey outings.
